Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) P/S is the world’s largest dedicated fund manager within greenfield renewable energy investments. CIP manages nine funds and has approx. EUR 16 billion of assets under management focused on investments in energy infrastructure, including offshore wind, onshore wind, solar PV, biomass and energy-from-waste, transmission and distribution, reserve capacity and storage, and other energy assets like Power-to-X.


CI III was established in 2018 with a total commitment of EUR 3.5bn (hard cap) exceeding the EUR 3bn target fund size. The fund obtained commitments from 42 institutional investors comprised of pension companies, insurance companies, family offices, and asset/fund managers.

CI III was tailor-made for investors seeking attractive risk-adjusted returns and long-term, stable and predictable cash flows with low correlation to the business cycle. The fund is invested in long-term contracted energy infrastructure in UK, Germany, Spain, the US and Taiwan.
